More ISE 2016 Awards for Kramer Network and K−Touch Control Solutions Following Their Award−Winning Performance Last Month in Amsterdam
23 March 2016
Kramer has won three Best of ISE 2016 awards from rAVe Publications: “Best New Video Over IP Product,” “Best New Video Wall Accessory” and “Best ProAV Control System Hardware.” These three awards add to last month’s Installation Magazine Best of Show win for Kramer Network and the InAVation award for K−Touch at ISE 2016.
Kramer took the “Best New Video Over IP Product” for Kramer Network. Kramer Network is an enterprise software platform that lets IT managers remotely configure, control, update and manage any AV devices, room environments, and IP streams from any single point in the network via a user−friendly web−based interface using any laptop, PC or mobile device.
“Kramer Network’s scalability is unique in the world of AV/IT convergence with its flexible architecture and smart GUI, making managing a network of thousands of ports as easy as handling a sports bar or retail facility,” said Aviv Ron, VP Business Development & Strategy at Kramer.
Kramer Network can be installed on standard, enterprise, virtual, or cloud servers for easy management and control of the entire AV and IP product range, including legacy AV, Dante™ and other devices.
The platform features enhanced security with intuitive user−access management of specific audio or video sources, rooms and predefined scenarios. IT managers can also easily monitor the system’s health status and track the connection between a source and a destination.
Kramer Network also won “Best New Video Wall Accessory” for the platform’s integration with HighSecLabs secured KVM and MultiViewer products. Kramer Network provides a user−friendly multi−screen display interface for mission critical control room applications that can be operated by touch, keyboard and mouse or using a dedicated K−Touch control tablet.
Kramer’s award for “Best ProAV Control System Hardware” focused on Kramer FC−series I/O connectivity products such as Kramer’s FC−26 and FC−28 used for Kramer’s K−Touch Control systems to enable Ethernet−based control of non−Ethernet−capable devices. FC−28 has eight ports that include RS−232, GPIO, relays, and IR. FC−26 enables two RS−232 devices and four IR devices to be controlled over Ethernet. Non−Ethernet devices can also be controlled using third−party I/O connectivity products.
K−Touch is Kramer’s revolutionary, cloud−based platform that makes it easy for integrators to remotely design, configure and update advanced, user−friendly room control systems for lights, screens, sound, HVAC, thermostats, any AV equipment, and more.
The platform is easily scalable to 100s of devices, multiple rooms and multiple sites, all controllable from any iOS or Android touch screen.
With K−Touch, integrators can configure control systems quickly with drag−and−drop functionality and simple coding. They can also access an ever−growing library of 1000s of device drivers and dozens of programming modules (e.g., Apple TV, Foscam cameras, Vera™ Smarter Home Control products, Centralite Lighting, Phillips Hue, and iTunes). The platform includes Apple TV IP control, immersive full−screen mode and support for iPhone models, including iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
