Kramer Room Control Solution, K-Touch 3, won the ISE 2016 InAVation award in the Control category.
“We are especially proud to receive this award at our industry’s largest global event as validation of the incredible breakthroughs the Kramer team has achieved to deliver super easy, cost effective, yet incredibly powerful control with the K-Touch platform,” said Aviv Ron, VP Business Development & Strategy at Kramer.
K-Touch, Kramer’s revolutionary, cloud-based room control platform makes it easy for integrators to design, configure and update advanced, user-friendly room control systems for lights, screens, sound, any AV equipment, HVAC, thermostats, and more. With K-Touch, end-users can control any device in the room over Ethernet. The platform is easily scalable to 100s of devices, multiple rooms and multiple sites, all controllable from any iOS or Android touch screen.
Non-Ethernet-based devices can be controlled over Ethernet using Kramer FC-series I/O connectivity products, including Kramer’s new FC-28, or third-party devices. FC-28 has eight ports that include RS-232, GPIO, relays, and IR. Kramer RC-series button controllers can also be incorporated into any project to provide tactile operation.
K-Touch lets integrators configure systems quickly with drag-and-drop functionality and simple coding. Integrators enjoy access to an ever-growing library of 1000s of device drivers and dozens of programming modules (e.g., Apple TV, Foscam cameras, Vera™ Smarter Home Control products, Centralite Lighting, Phillips Hue, and iTunes). The platform includes Apple TV IP control, immersive full-screen mode and support for iPhone models, including iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
K-Touch is ideal for any AV environment (e.g., Corporate, Education, Entertainment, and Houses of Worship).
Integrators can offer remote cloud-based support and updates to customers without having to be on-site. This translates to significant cost savings and higher ROI.
The platform is easy and quick to learn. Kramer offers a simple online training course that can be completed in just a few hours. An extensive support database is available online and includes tutorials, articles, videos, and sample project files with additional instructions on performing both simple and complex tasks.
New dealers can benefit from Kramer’s attractive K-Touch starter kit which allows them to immediately start selling and installing the platform.
