Horizon™ In-Wall Multiway Remote, Black

The HZ-AUX is a Horizon™ in-wall multiway remote that controls Horizon-style dimmers and switches. Its design matches the entire line of Horizon dimmers, switches, and keypads, making it a great addition to new or retrofit installations.

NOTE: Faceplates are not included. Refer to the HZ-FP-G series faceplates for more information.

Multiway Dimming and Switching
Similar to traditional three- or four-way circuits, the HZ-AUX lets you control the lights from multiple locations using the traveler wire. Up to four devices can be connected to a single dimmer or switch. The multiway controller provides instant usability upon installation without the need for programming.

Multigang Expansion
Up to four devices may be installed side-by-side in a multigang electrical box with a compatible Horizon faceplate (HZ-FP-G series). All buttons in a multigang arrangement align to form one continuous control surface.

Field-Replaceable Button Caps
The preinstalled rocker button cap on the HZ-AUX is field replaceable, allowing for rocker button caps with custom engravings.

Customizable Faceplates
Horizon device faceplates (sold separately) are customizable for any décor. Color-matched top and bottom trim pieces may be swapped easily after installation with custom trim fabricated from solid materials such as wood, metal, marble, engineered stone, or Corian® solid surface. Paintable trim is also available separately.

Note: The faceplate trim is attached magnetically, which may inhibit use in locations where tampering may occur.
